Hi,
please excuse the late reply, but I moved to a different city and only now have access to my PC again.
Regarding your question: The min. SDK for the GPS-Connector app is 24, which is Android V7 (Nougat).
So if your device has Android V6 installed, the app can't be loaded from Google Playstore ...

Re: Gps Connector and Rabbit Rally
Hola Jose,
El problema que tengo es que al usar el Rabbit con su aplicación, el Rabbit no es capaz de leer el dato de la hora gps, y toma por defecto la hora del dispositivo.
What exactly do you mean? Rabbit does not show the time from GGA but the system timestamp?

Re: Gps Connector and Rabbit Rally
Hi Jose,
i don't support any "special" interfaces of other apps, like setting a timestamp or whatever.
i just forward (set) the current location to Android via mocking in my app.
In the Android location object there is a GNSS timestamp, so other apps could read it.

Re: Save appears to do nothing useful from Terminal
Hi Snowbank,
So far I am really pleased with GPS Connect, thanks for all your work on it.
You're welcome.
I don't think I can get into internal app directory
No - that is blocked by Android since version 10. You need a rooted device to access the internal app folders.

Re: Save appears to do nothing useful from Terminal
Hi,
maybe the user-interface is not very intuitive here, sorry!
Once you clicked the save action the data is stored in your internal app directory.
If you are done you can share the result by just tap on the "share" button.

Re: Now that the current version has reached v1.3, which message will be used?
I know that "gga, gsv, gst" are used. Are there any others?
Since the first version of the GPS-Connector app the parsed NMEA strings haven't changed.
I read the following strings in my app:
GGA (location,time)
GSA (satellite -in-use info)
GST (accuracy)
GSV (satellite list)
RMC (navigation ...

Re: $PSMSG sentence
Looks like an NMEA-pseudo message from your Samsung phone.
All proprietary NMEA message start with prefix "$P" followed by three-letter manufacturer code.
So "SMS" - i guess - stands for Samsung. The "G" maybe for Gyro? I don't know.
You have to ask Samsung to get more information about that message ...

Re: USB Receiver - the number of satellites and other service information is not displayed
No - root access is not really useful to solve this problem!
The mocking feature is independent on root or normal user access.
Another question:
Why do you need to show the satellite list in another app?
IF you want to, you can just switch to the sat-list page on my app.
But if you really want to ...
