Already answered I think - Columbus P-10 only outputs $GNRMC and $GNGGA NMEA sentences and no configuration changes are permitted that allow other sentences like GSV.

Thank you for the quick reply to my question. What you suggested does indeed work to save an NMEA file : Mash the Save button, then the Share button to halt saving. And Share allows the data to go almost anywhere - an email to myself or saved to my Android storage with a file manager ...
