Activate mock location
  • switch on "Set Mock Location" in the GPS-Connector app settings and
optionally set the desired "mock height" to orthometric or ellipsoidal
  • Select the "mock location app" in the Android developer options as well
Android12::Settings > System > Developer options > scroll down to "mock location app"
    >> now select the "GPS Connector" app
    >> or simply tap on "Developer options" on the settings screen
  • if you don't see the developer options on your smartphone, just activate them:
it depends on the Android OS version of your phone how to activate the developer options, e.g.:
Android V11/V12: Settings > About phone > Build number (click 7 times on the "Build number" text)
To check if the mock-location feature works just set "Simulation" as "GNSS Input" in settings and switch to Google Maps.
The location should jump now between different cities, like Munich, Berlin, Paris, etc.
