Hi!
When using two GPS receivers (UBlox and noname) the number of satellites and some other information is not transmitted through the Mock Location service. On the screenshots of the AlpineQuest and OziExplorer applications.

yes, that's true!

Only the location is mocked in my app without any GSV data,
because that's much more performant.

Maybe I didn't comment on your last question correctly.
There is no way to implement this feature, because Android allows mocking for location only!

What i do is adding some useful informations to the mocked location in Trimble-style.
(hdop, vdop, number of satellites, etc.)

But this info is only shown by any other client app if this app is also querying those addon-data.

No - root access is not really useful to solve this problem!
The mocking feature is independent on root or normal user access.

Another question:
Why do you need to show the satellite list in another app?
IF you want to, you can just switch to the sat-list page on my app.

But if you really want to use another app like AlpineQuest,
just check if they can connect directly to your ublox receiver.
In that case you don't need GPS-Connector at all.
