Start app after boot up with bluetooth gps
Start app after boot up with bluetooth gps
Dear friend, I use your application to use garmin glo 2 on the android screen of my car. The application runs very well, however, when I select the start app after bootup, the application does not automatically connect bluetooth to glo 2, I have to lauch the application manually. Can you add the auto pair function with bluetooth gps in service?

Re: Start app after boot up with bluetooth gps
I just updated the app. Now the application starts on boot just like running a normal application. However, can you make the application run in the background as a service at boot and automatically connect to the bluetooth gps in the service?
Re: Start app after boot up with bluetooth gps
What exactly do you mean?
The app should not be visible after the device is booted?
If so - let me check, but i thinks that's not so easy to change on my app.
There is a background service (which is managing the NMEA data) but this service
is not able to open a connection to bluetooth or USB.
This last-mode handler is in the app activity (not in the service), so the app must start.
A solution maybe is to hide the app again as soon as lastmode is restored.

Re: Start app after boot up with bluetooth gps
I mean exactly that. But now I have a solution for that problem. I used tasker to hide the app when it first runs. Thanks for your great support
